Back Once Again

Hi everyone!

This time between the pandemic and depression, the lap has been a bit longer, bur the sun is out in Florida and life goes on.

I want to thanks my new Italian friends, specially Danilo Varriano, whose enthusiasm got these two photographers out of the black hole in which we were, more with a voluntary lock down of over a year.

The vaccine and the re-discovered photography have been wonderful for us, thanks also Jackson Memorial Hospital for giving us the opportunity of a vaccine on a same day appointment.

So the long lenses are looking at us with teary eyes, while we clean the closet of unused gear and trade in for new toys.

I cleaned my beloved Lensbaby Velvet 56 that had been gathering dust for a couple or year and as a result of the trade, the new love of our life, the beast Voigtlander 15mm f.4.5 rectilinear that fits our appetite, Alfred has much more experience than me with ultra wide angle, but the lens fits me like a glove, having a blast with it.

Here are a couple of samples of what we have been doing since May 22, when a had a small Photowalk in virtual synchronicity with other parts of the word.

Be back soon, bear with me, lots of good things happening at the same time and the old clock has to adapt!

Lunch in Benihana, taken by me with the 15mm beast, window light.

  1. It is good to hear from you Fabs! I was telling someone this morning about how what great people you and Al are. I am up in St. Augustine at the Alligator Farm and reminisced about the workshops I enjoyed with you two! Wishing you all the best! Jim Boland

  2. Querida Fabi:

So glad to see you are “Back in the saddle again.”

    Un caluroso abrazo,

    Ricardo
