Tetons and Yellowstone in the Fall

Last fall, we had a nice trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. End of September and beginning of October is a great time to visit the area. Luckily, you will find peak colors a t the Tetons, and the Elk rut at Yellowstone.
We flew to Jackson and drove around. We did have a problem, “controlled fires”, at the peak of photographer’s visit, rendering a smoky Tetons and many closed roads. But we always try to make the best of the situation and enjoyed our time anyway.
Here are some pictures, some HDRs, some multiple exposures, some photo art, so you get an idea of what we enjoyed. We really recommend the trip to anyone who values nature, be it wildlife or scenic.

  1. Nice to hear that you have enjoyed the trip. From this very good series of images I especilly like the fourth (from top to bottom), fifth and the golden eagle one. I absolutelly love the mood of the scene with the rain, soft light and full wing spread 🙂

  2. so much beauty and a very special place. I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite from this grouping, love them all! You have such a gift my friend, I really enjoyed these!
