Photography contest sponsored by the Coral Gables Garden Club. First time for them and it was a great success.

Alfred and I were the judges as was another judge from Maine.

The overall contest winner, who got the Marlene Kerdyk Grand Prize – $1000 was Ana Bauer, congratulations for a beautiful image.

“The reasons why we chose this image, Is the magical light that appeals to the viewer. You get the feeling of being there. The color palette is very soothing, the main subject, the stump, is in the right place leading you to the golden reflection and back to it.
